The umbilical cord is a cable that connects the probe to the monitor.
FIXATION DISK
The QFlow500® Probe when used intraparenchymally should be secured so as to avoid probe motion and/or migration due to patient motion. Users have chosen various methods to fix/secure the probe to the skull or scalp. These methods include the fixation disk, tunnelling, and single or multi lumen bolts.*
